45,000 Trailers and Counting
We’ve reached a pretty special milestone at KEA Trailers.
We’ve now manufactured more than 45,000 trailers right here in New Zealand.
That’s 45,000 trailers that have left our factory and gone on to do all sorts of jobs around the country. From the trailer behind the family car on a Saturday morning, to trailers working hard on farms, building sites, businesses and everything in between.
It’s a number we’re pretty proud of.
40+ years of building trailers
We’ve been building trailers in New Zealand for more than 40 years, so we’ve seen a lot of changes along the way.
Trailer designs have evolved, technology has changed and the way people use trailers has changed too. But the basics of what makes a good trailer haven’t really changed.
It needs to be well built, practical, reliable and up to the job.
Over the years, we’ve continued to develop our range around the needs of the people who use our trailers. That means everything from general-purpose trailers through to farm, commercial, enclosed and specialist trailers.
Made here, used everywhere
Our trailers are designed and manufactured in Hamilton, and we’re proud to continue making them here in New Zealand.
We’ve had generations of Kiwis use KEA trailers over the years, and we still hear plenty of stories about trailers that have been working away for years and years.
That’s one of the things we like most about what we do. A trailer might seem like a fairly simple piece of equipment, but it can become part of everyday life for a long time.
45,000 is a big number
Reaching 45,000 trailers is really a milestone for everyone at KEA.
It represents the people who have worked here over the years, the dealers who have helped get our trailers out around the country, and the customers who have chosen KEA.
Most of all, it’s a reminder of how long we’ve been part of the New Zealand trailer industry.
We’re proud of where we’ve come from, and we’re looking forward to seeing where the next 45,000 takes us.
